What Gillette case is this? Old type wood

I found this auction the other day and found that it had an old type looking case but looks to be made out of wood. Is this a case made for another market besides the U.S.? If you have any knowledge or links that would be very helpful.

Do you mean the case with the Old Type cap and the Gold Tech handle? That looks like a ABC Pocket Edition 505 case.

That looks like the one to me. Its hard to tell too much from the pictures but hopefully its not in to bad of shape. Thank you.

Dammit, Justin. You sniped that one out from under me. I had a question in to the seller about the condition of the case's exterior and "hinge," but I knew I should've just pulled the trigger

I'm fairly sure that it's a leather Pocket Edition case. And if it's in good shape it would be a pretty good grab on its own at that price. But with the other pieces in that lot, if the lid's not completely separated and if the outside isn't stripped you've got yourself a nice little steal there.

Good score Justin! This was in my watch list but I removed it since I did not see anything appealing in the lot! I guess I'm still on the ropes when it comes to collecting!
