What dreams may come

So, I've been toiling over whether to post this in the Skin/Body Care sub, or over here. I've decided to post here, since this is where I hang out the most.

I had a dream last night. A rather odd dream. I was in a retail store (probably Wal Mart, but I'm not sure), just browsing, and I noticed a section devoted specifically to Noodler's products. I thought "I don't really need ink [yeah... this was a dream... not real life], but I'll see what else they have." Well, wouldn't you know it! In my dream, Noodler's had developed a few other product lines, not limited to Soaps and Shampoos. But their soaps were different. They were those Jelly-like soaps (like my wife has bought from LUSH in the past). More fun than practical, but neat, nonetheless. Now here's the crazy part. The soaps were scented and labeled just like the INK lines. Demanding the most attention in my dream was the Liberty's Elysium jelly soap. It was, of course, a bright, effervescent blue. And of course it smelled exactly like you would want the ink to smell if it were scented. I mean... I guess it did. I don't really have a sense of smell in my sleep, but my subconscious self sure did like it. Now here's the REALLY crazy part! Instead of fitting rooms in the store, there were test showers where you could try out the bath products! Fortunately, my alarm began going off! :scared:

Discuss.

Now that I'm thinking about it, Nathan Tardiff (of Noodler's) is sufficiently weird enough to come up with a line of exotic body washes...complete with historical references and political viewpoints! I have the same problem with dreams...once things really get interesting, the alarm goes off or something else wakes me up.

I can't wait for "Bernanke's Awash with Money" bar soap!

Noodler's soaps would probably stain your body....just sayin'

Regarding the dream, you should probably spend some time away from here  As if that were possible, lol

Grooming experts would warn you not to wash anything important with them too.

Sounds like your Nib life is making you feel guilty about not posting enough in botoc
BOTOC? Excuse me mister... I can't say that I've seen you in there very much lately. (Stern Talking-To Smiley)

I think your sub-conscious is telling you to buy a bottle of Liberty's Elysium ink to try out!
I HAVE tried it! And I LOVE IT... not for my vintage pens though. And it's too nib-creepy.

Goulet orders come with candy... explains the gummi thing

Hmmm... Maybe you're on to something here.

Me... taking a shower... not what I'm sure any of us would call "interesting."

Oh oh oh! Or the IRS Cucumber Eye Mask! "You didn't see annnyyything."

Yeah.. I'll have to stay away from the Baystate Bubble Bath. I hear it's really bad for bathtubs.

My open combs got to open when I changed up to straights... I still keep my eye on it though

sigh... That's ok... other than occasional experimentation, I've been shaving almost exclusively with my Krona. Don't tell them though. I'd hate to break their hearts.

Fridays are Fishtastic!
Same here, and I think it's because I'm 100% dialed in on my shave...thanks to Badger & Blade and the wonderful members here :)
Yep, same here. I know what soaps I like, and am getting decent with the straight. I am usually in The Nib, Brown Leaf, Mess Hall, and Barber Shop.
