What does Clubman Bump Repair gel smell like?

About a month ago I got some Bump Repair gel at Sally Beauty on clearance. Once past the initial alcohol scent, it leaves a very pleasant scent behind. My question is which of the Clubman aftershaves does it smells like, if any?

The only aftershave in that particular line of products is the Anti-aging Aftershave Balm (a really awesome balm by the way). I kind of like the smell of that but I have no idea if it smells like the repair gel. The balm and their "Luxury Shaving cream" both have the same scent.. a sort of sweet menthol.. The shave cream is decent, but nowhere near the best I've tried.. it does lather pretty well. The balm, however, is definitely worth checking out of you happen to see it.

By the way.. how does that Bump Repair gel work? I've never actually tried any products designed for bumps and ingrowns, but I probalby should seeing as how I do get them from time to time (very curly hair that seems to grow perfectly parallel to the plane of my face..)

From my limited use, I think it does a pretty good job. It is, of course, a gel, so you just kinda smear it on after shave. At first, you just get a moderate alcohol burn and a ridiculously overpowering alcohol scent. Once the alcohol fades, however, you get a moisturizing gel with a really pleasant scent (I don't know if it smells like the regular Clubman or Vanilla, etc.).

If you can find it for a decent price, I'd definitely recommend it- especially if you get frequent ingrowns.

I use the bump repair gel with great results on the odd times that I develope irritation. Funny enough, I really dont notice any scent, its more of an alcohol smell. Only my opinion though.

i have a bottle and can't remember anything but an incredibly strong alcohol vapor smell. i used it once. it worked...and then i stuffed it back under the sink.

there's got to be a better way....
