What's new

What do you do when...

I've been into buyig and trying new scotches, particulalry single malts.
Obviously with trial and error there are going to be some that you love, like and just plain dislike.
What do you do with those that you aren't thrilled about or just plain don't like?
Obviously it doesn't matter that I'm talking about single malt scotches, but really I mean alcohol in general?
What's appropriate here?

This is an easy one- you wrap the bottle in bubble wrap and send it to me. And I even paypal you the money for shipping and bubble wrap. Come on, you don't want all of those half-full bottles cluttering up your cabinet, do you?

Thanks in advance.

Actually the bottle with the least amount would have maybe 75% left

Are you seriously interested?
I'll list the single malts in question if so

Haha.

I was just joking that if you want to give away the bottles you didn't enjoy I'd certainly take them off of your hands. But I believe the REAL answer is to serve them to your guests.

But having too many bottles of Single Malt does seem like a pretty fantastic problem to have! As a poor, recent college graduate I don't quite have that problem just yet, but I sure hope I do someday!

Have a whiskey tasting party!

+1.

Even if you are living in a relatively small apartment, if there is a small grassy area or even a rooftop, you can invite friends over and let them have a go at the liquor locker.

With the chill settling in for the fall now, I'll also invite friends over, choose an open bottle and polish it off while watching football, hockey or basketball and enjoying a round of cigars. Of course, my friends are expected to bring two cigars; one for them and one for me.
