What the heck is that thing? Whatever it is, it looks pretty old.

There were two kinds. Yours, and a wind up version with a rotating blade. Scary, meat-slicer for face shaving. But I still want to get my hands on one someday. The wind up version goes for really high prices.

The Collins razors were from around the late teens, early 20s and the stationary ones were either silver or gold-plated. The Collins Safety Razor Co. was based in Chicago and had offices in other parts of the country
