Today was a quick safety razor day:
• Rockwell T2 Gunmetal Chrome.
• Astra platinum blade, (2nd shave).
• Fine Barber Blue shaving soap.
• Olive oil bar soap pre-shave prep.
• Omega boar.
• Thayers Witch Haze post splash.
• Duke Cannon balm.
• Fine Barber Blue aftershave back neck.
• The judge is awarding a score of 8 this late afternoon. I do not use my Rockwell as much these days since my venture into straights and new Timeless razors. But the T2 did a good job. I used settings 4 and 2 for a Two pass shave WTG and ATG. Not BBS, but certainly a damn good one. Because I have not been reaching for my Rockwell lately, I may introduce her to the sale arena. Certainly a good razor that has few shaves on it.

My Wednesday Morning Shave
Prep: Warm shower, three days growth
One pass shave: WTG
Razor: Merkur Progress Model 510 (#4)
Blade: Feather Hi-Stainless (5)
Pre-Shave: None
Brush: WCS Beacon Silvertip Badger 24mm
Soap: Murphy & McNeil Nil Scent (Fragrance Free) Shaving Soap

Aftershave: Nivea Men Sensitive Post Shave Balm
8.6/10

Soap: Stirling Coconut Lime
Razor: Le Grelot 6/8
Brush: Simpson Special pure
Aftershave: Witch Hazel / Skin Bracer

Can see the bottom of this tub finally. I don't think it's going to survive this summer haha.

Great shave. I did get a weeper on the left side of my chin though, but it didn't survive final rinse.

9/10

First use Fatip Lo Storto open gold. Still geting used to it. Good shave, not great. Need to find righ angle. Not "automatic shave" as Merkur 37c or Razorock German Slant.
Brush Simpson Best Badger 2 (always forget to include brush in picture)
Also first use Gillette Pure shaving cream. Considering its price it is a very good cream. FOR ME much better than other expensive from Procter and Gamble, Art of Shaving.
NACET blade 2nd use still great.
Thayers Witch Hazel as after shave.

Today was hectic, with an early start, so no time to shave. This afternoon I wanted an easy, laid back shave, so I decided to use a Henson AL13 mild.

1) No pre-shave
2) Cella Crema da Barba
3) Simpson Trafalgar T3
4) Henson AL13 mild
5) Astra Superior Platinum (2)
6) Clubman Pinaud aftershave

The shave was easy and very good. Close enough, and no irritation at all. Just what I wanted!
8.75/10

Pinaud Clubman aftershave

Cheshire has an Earl Grey tea scent, so using Pinaud Clubman as an aftershave gave me a sweet tea shave. B & M Cheshire has a better residual slickness than TOBS shaving creams. (I just took a sip of my tea as I’m typing this and realized that I’m drinking Earl Grey as I talk about an Earl Grey scented soap. 😄☕)

I did two passes on the face, and it’s as smooth (almost) as had I done an ATG pass. I did three passes on the neck. Just one spot is a bit rough yet. I’ll score the shave at 9.25/10.

Brush: 24mm Cashmere
Lather: Stirling Eucalyptus Mint
Blade: Personna Lab Blue (3)
Razor: Karve CB with SB-G plate
Post: Thayer's and Chiseled Face Sherlock

A great shave today. I really enjoy the SB-G plate. I'm glad David @never-stop-learning talked it up so much, or I would never have tried it. A little brass polish on the top cap and base plate brought the razor's shine back out. And the Karve's handle is second to none, in my opinion. No injuries or irritation. BBS- results that lasted quite a while today. 10/10.

Henson Mild
Astra SP (2)
Haslinger Schafmilch
RV Tulip 22mm Shavemac 2-band silvertip
Warm then cold water rinse

9/10 - Easily BBS in two passes with a bit of cleanup around the chin area.

Until the past two weeks, I never really rotated cream or soap. I'd open a tube/tub/puck then use it until it dies. Recently, I've been using Haslinger every few days, with Palmolive or Nivea in between. I like the resulting face feel (in my weather) better than when I use nothing but Schafmilch.

Razor Karve Brass SB-F
Blade Persona X Series 18th Use

A very good quality soap with a terrific scent and a rich creamy slick lather...
The shave with the razor paired with this well-used blade was amazing! The blade is still smooth and performing without any signs of being dull. 3passes without any issues for a bbs/dfs result. The matching aftershave was super...Rating 10/10!
