Friday Shave
Pre-shave: Shower/warm washcloth/PAA The Cube
Razor: Fat handle Pre-War Tech
Blade: Vidyut Super-Max
Brush: Semogue 830 23mm Pure Bristle Boar
Soap: PAA Sundown
Bowl/Mug: Fleamarket find
Post Shave: Seabreeze/Nivea balm
AS: PAA Sundown

Well, today's shave wasn't quite as good as Wed's, as I got 2 nicks on my cheeks, one on each side, but the results were still ended in a very smooth shave. Didn't feel them when they happened, but saw the results a few moments later. Not sure how they happened, but they did. But they didn't require any post shave attention, so that's good.
No irritation post shave, so overall a good shave. Will have to deduct a little for the nicks.

The PAA Sundown set has a great scent to it, and a little AS goes a long way..

Today's shave gets an 8.75.

Razorock black mamba
Gillette perma sharp super (gold) (1)
Barbasol purple ex moisturizing
Old spice original
Nivea sensitive white balm

Love this razor!! It's technically my weekend so I could have used brush and soap/cream but I'm staying at girlfriend's family place so just brought the barbasol I've been using last couple days.
I remember a time when I could never use barbasol or anything in a can with a DE.
Now that technique is good, there's no issue
No it's not as nice or and slick as my nice soaps and creams, but now after using it for a few days I know I can use it if I'm ever running late. Adding water to me is the key.
I give it a 9. 1 pass plus touch-up and I got DFS. The good razor and blade helps too.

9.9 BBS Another nice shave to start today off with. Again, no stubble, nicks, or weepers. Leaving to take wife out to breakfast at our favorite cafe downtown, and then I will be doing lots of house cleaning while she is out on her errands this morning.

* Yesterday, while cleaning up my den’s shelved supplies, I discovered rust on the tins storing my Viking Bay Rum and Cedar Pine scent soaps. Further, mold seemed to be growing on the edges of the stored soap. I scooped what appeared to be usable portions of the Bay Rum and Cedar Pine, and mixed them into the remainder of the Viking Sandal Wood I had been using into the Campbell’s Soup mug. I set the mug in boiling water and melted them all together. So today’s shave was an uber lather of the three soaps.

Pre-Shave: Cold water splash - OPR Bay Rum soap (brushless)
Soap: Ogallala Bay Rum
Brush: Barrister and Mann Tuxedo synthetic
Razor: Karve Brass (Plate B) w/CG Brass Torpedo handle
Blade: Kai SS (3)
Post-Shave: Cold water splash - Thayers Witch Hazel - Lucky Tiger Face Tonic
AS: Ogallala Bay Rum Double Strength

In a word...amazing. Karve is King in my den now. Nuff said. No injuries were sustained. Ogallala day! Bonus! The Ogallala soap is usually a little weak...but somehow...it was perfect this morning. I bloomed it with a bit more water than usual. Will have to remember that.

Happy Shaves, Everyone! Enjoy the weekend!
