Pre: Just a hot shower
Soap: TOBS Sandalwood
Brush: Simpsons Trafalgar T3
Razor: Rockwell 6s - Plate R4
Blade: Gillette Nacet (2nd use)
Post: Nivea Sensitive Balm
AS: Old Spice

RATING: 7.5/10

Some of my favourite gear today. Used the Trafalgar again after someone gave it love in another thread but I don't find it as pleasant on the face or as easy to splay as my RR Bruce. I have an AP Shave Synbad to try yet as well.

CCS+ Smooth albeit a couple of minor rough missed spots but also a good ol’ burn from Old Spice makes me think I might need to step down to R3 plate as I shave every day. Still learning and experimenting. Also need to learn to use EVEN LESS pressure and things get a little wacky around my chin (goodness knows what I’m doing there!). Nice and smooth, good post shave feel, room for improvement.

Nice shave after a morning run. Already tempted to chuck the blade though but I’ll give it another shave just to see how it will perform.

Soap: Stirling Orange Chill
Razor: Frankentech (Zamac head)/SSC handle

8/10: Needed to get close to shoot a video, but also working on only 20 hours growth. Did it, great end-result, but irritated myself along the way.

Thursday morning shave

Razor: Dorko
Brush: Boar
Soap: Lea cream
Post: Aqua Velva

An excellent shave this morning. Have really come to enjoy the menthol blast that Lea provides. Im pretty slow with the SR and this cream stays nice and slick and wet through the entire first pass. Happy Thursday!
