Razor: Merkur 34C
Blade: Gillette 7'oclock super stainless steel (green/russia)(1)
Brush: Omega S-Brush 10019
Bowl: $3.50 bowl from Daiso
Pre-shave: Proraso Red
Cream: Proraso Wood and Spice
After-shave: Fine Santal Absolut

Rating: 9/10 - It was a DFS and there was only just the slightest hint of some irritation that might be held over from the previous weeks worth of shaves. Hence I couldn't give it the 10/10. Loved the blade in that razor though.

OCtober 21 on a MMMonday and today out of the Gem rack came the legendary Micromatic open comb(MMOC) razor and it gave me a decent shave. Some blade feel for me and for myself that is a instant understanding of its ability to perform in a more aggressive way if I want it at my disposal. I find the MMOC not overly aggressive if used properly for my shave outcomes.

Razor : Micromatic open comb with bumps on base plate variant-MFG 1932-41-Bumpless base plate 1930-32
Blade : Gem Personna SS PTFE (4)
Soap : Tabac
Brush : Razorock Noir 400
Preshave: Brush wash face with CeraVe hand bar soap + Dab of clear Aloe Vera gel on beard area
Post shave: Dickinson's witch hazel
Post shave: Proraso green lotion AS + Nivea balm
Results: 8.5/10 or CCS,DFS,BBS + aftershave indicated minor irritation +1 weeper= :biggrin1:

SOTD, I like my Stick Schick L with a Twin II blade and still testing the longevity of the blade. The twin works well for daily shaving but anything past 2 days you are going to feel tugging & plugage IMO but it is a remarkable blade.

Razor:Stick Schick injector L theme series type- MFG 1973
Blade: Schick Twin II (24 uses) Japan made
Brush: Yaki tuxedo knot 24 mm +
Soap: Razorock Lavender
Preshave: Brush wash face with CeraVe hand bar soap + dab of Aloe Vera gel on beard area
Post shave: Alum block + cold water rinse
Post shave: Razorock XXX aftershave with witch hazel + Nivea balm.
Results: 8/10 or CCS,DFS,BBS + Alum indicated some irritation + 1 previous chin weeper re-appeared again= :wink2:

Razor: Merkur 34C
Blade: Gillette 7o'clock Super Stainless Steel (2)
Brush: Omega S-Brush 10019
Bowl/Dish: Bodum Stacking Spice Dish
Pre-shave: Prep
Soap: Willams mug soap
After-shave: Fine American Blend

Rating: 8/10 - I had tried Williams a few times before as my second soap ever after starting with AOS sandalwood cream, and Edwin Jagger Sandalwood Soap. I had such a bad experience with the Williams the first time I used the first puck up as a face soap in the shower after a few days of trying it. Now a little over a year later I have had a good shave with the Williams! The reason I still wouldn't mark this a 9 or 10 shave is because it took a long time to load a ton of the Williams onto the brush, and in the end I only got a DFS, so not and 10 because it wasn't BBS and not a 9 because it was a DFS, but it took a lot of effort to build a nice lather. However on the plus side, I am now going to use Williams for a little bit to see if it gets better. I heard it takes a few shaves to get the best out of it once you start using it.

The secret to Williams soap is to load the brush well and then apply to face and lather a thicker creamer lather than normal and just tip the brush and add very little water and leave it thicker than other soaps.

Surprisingly 10/10

Surprising because I rarely get a 10/10 shave the day immediately following a 10/10. I generally get excellent BBS shaves on a three pass WTG/XTG/ATG shave, but the next day I normally need a break and just do a light touch up shave. Today however I decided to to another three pass WTG/XTG/ATG shave and got a fantastic BBS two days in a row...We'll see what tomorrow brings.
