Proraso green preshave cream
MDC Original soap
Muhle Stylo synthetic brush
Rockwell 6S (Plate 3)
Astra SP Blade (first use)
Proraso Green AS
Saponificio Varesino Stella Alpina AS

Overall shave: 7/10

I rate the shave a 7 because the edge on this razor is t quite up to par just yet. I irritated the troublesome double direction growth spot on my neck, and didn’t shave as close around the goatee area as I am getting accustomed to do.

I guess I’m improving, if those are my only real complaints, but the shave only rates a 7.

Parker Variant on 4.5
Feather blade (first use)
AdP AS & some Fine American splash
Rating: 7.5

Just a bit too harsh a shave. Close as sin though.

Gear: Maggard V3 with a fresh Voskhod, Semogue 1250, Proraso Blue, cold water rinse.
Result: 10/10 shave......12 hours later, face still feels amazing!

Proraso Styptic Gel (got myself good on the jaw on my second pass, I was being lazy)
Nivea Sensitive Skin Aftershave Balm
Rating: 9

This is probably the closest all-around shave I've gotten since I started DE shaving back in January. Really liking the Gillette Slim, and it's knocked out my Razorock SLOC as my daily driver. Well, kind of. I'm sending it off to North Shore Razors to get the two-tone look done. Once it's back, then it will be my daily driver.

The difference? Human error today, less so yesterday.

Razorock SLOC with a Gillette Wilkinson Sword on its third use. Van der Hagen deluxe soap with a Razorock plissoft brush face lathered. Styptic pencil for three weepers under my chin which I always get with this razor there when trying to go ATG. Proraso aftershave balm after the witch hazel. Shave was probably an 8 out of 10. Not a fan of the Proraso after shave smell.
