Received my new Timeless Stainless Steel .68 gap razor today so couldn't wait to shave with it!

timeless_T68_SS2.jpg

Preshave:
Washed face with Nivea Men's Moisturizing Face Wash
Proraso Green preshave cream
Shave:
Soap Commander Vision (Aqua, Amber, Mint) shave soap
Semogue 730 Badger brush
Timeless SS T.68
Personna Blue
3 passes (WTG, XTG, ATG)
Aftershave:
Cool water rinse
Pass with Omega Alum stick on damp face
Seven Minerals Organic Aloe Gel
Soap Commander Endurance AS Balm
PAA Cold Spices After Shave

Fantastically smooth shave. I need to learn it a bit so was very conservative with it, but so far it's a very similar feel to my Rockwell 6s.

Brush, Paladin Mobi
Soap, Paladin Crossroad
Preshave, AOS preshave oil
Razor, Hart 5/8
Aftershave, AOS Aftershave Balm

Not my closest shave but by far my most successful straight razor shave thus far so I give it 10/10. Managed a DFS on my cheeks with an ATG pass.

Don’t ding me for the Hart. I know their reputation is spotty at best and my experience is little but so far, to me, it’s been a very good shaver.
Good weekend gents!

Result:
10 / 10
Another fantastic two pass shave with no cuts, weepers or irritation. Oh boy does SoCal Hipster smell incredible, one of my favourite scents. The High Mountain White bulb knot feels very soft and luxurious and has just enough backbone that it isn’t floppy but I don’t think it has very good flow through and I have to load way heavier then with my other knots.

Taconic Lime soap

Astra green blade
'53 Gold Tech razor
Alum block
Proraso aftershave balm
Super nice 3 pass shave. No cuts no nicks and a precision shave!

Yesterday I used a '37 Gillette gold open comb Tuckaway that was exceptionally satisfying.

Brush: RV Gonzo Beehive Butterscotch swirl 28mm, 2 Band Shavemac knot

Blade: Personna Crystal (2) and out

Soap: MDC Fougere, sometimes I ask myself why do I use any soap other than MDC or Ethos, but there are things I like about the other soaps I have and at least with soaps and brushes variety is nice.

Razor: Timeless Ti SB .95, when I pick my Wolfman I want to get the next step up in efficiency from my current razor, I am thinking that will be the WR2 1.35, need to have David aka dmshaver get his first so I can decide.

Post Shave: Ethos Unscented skin food, SV Cubebe aftershave

Soap Stirling Iced Pineapple
Brush Yaqi 24mm Green Mink
Razor Yaqi AC Brass
Blade Feather Professional 2nd use and somehow much more silky smooth!
Post & Aftershaves Ice Water + Stirling Witchhazel MitA + Hyaluronic + Proraso Green Splash
Wow-soap!! 1st wow is the intoxicating scent, 2nd wow is the cooling sensation and the last wow is the thickly creamy and slick lather...superb!!!
Shave with razor paired with 2nd use blade was much better than the 1st... silkier smooth and more comfortable. Very enjoyable 3passes without any issues for a mostly BBS result. A very nice & sharp blade this Feather Professional (I realized today a few hours after shaving how sharp it was because I found some micro-cut lines at the jawbone "below the ear' area as a result just putting the blade to my skin from going atg yesterday-no bleeding at all surprisingly).
Very nice cooling aftershaves too. Rating 10/10!

Soap/Cream: Palmolive stick
Brush: Mühle Silvertip fibre M
Razor: Merkur 38C
Blade: Polsilver Super iridium (1st)
Post: warm rinse; Ladrôme witchhazel + alum
AS: cold rinse; Pitralon classic AS.

2 passes (WTG, ATG), excellent shave.
After 10 days of TOBS Sandalwood cream, I've shifted back to the Palmolive stick - Pitralon AS combo yesterday. What a lovely combination. No feedback yet from my wife.
Today I ditched the Personna blade. Polsilver is entirely new for me. First impression: feels sharp, makes a lot of noise, gives a very close shave (a lot better than the 5th shave with the Personna). Curious what the next days will bring, it might end up on the 'keepers' stack.

Sunday morning.

Vintage Thomas Turner "Encore" ("Sunday") 6/8 round point straight razor
Zenith 506 black horse brush
Stirling "Evergreen Forest" soap
Superdrug "Forest Fresh" aftershave

Been a few weeks since this one had a run around my face. Still holding the edge nicely, so no excuse to do anything with it. The brush is always a good one.

I usually like to go vintage on the aftershave as well on a Sunday, but there wasn't one that was such a good fit with the soap. £3 from the high street chemist chain that's just about everywhere in the UK, so I'm considering that something of a lesson in not ignoring the obvious.

Hot flannel rather than post-shower. I'm going to give it a "9".
