Good morning this MMMonday and hope all is well. Some of you fellows were sure busy with OCtober with your open comb razors. It was a little more quiet over here some Mondays!
Razor: Gem Micromatic open comb (MMOC) - Mfg 1930-41 with button less (BLMMOC) 1930-32
Blade: Gem Personna SS PTFE (10)
Soap: Proraso Red Sandal wood
Brush: Yaki Tuxedo knot 24 mm+
Preshave: Brush wash face with CeraVe hand bar soap + Dollop of Aloe Vera gel to beard area.
Post shave: Alum block + cold water rinse
Post shave: Proraso red AS with witch hazel + Nivea Balm(very dry up north with forced heating)
Results:9/10 or CCS,DFS,BBS + Alum indicated no irritation + no weepers =
Have some great shaves!

3 passes + touch ups to DFS. 1 nick. No irritation that could be felt. Skin turned red later in the AM. This blade had undocumented shaves and was beginning to pull so will bin it. Otherwise a pleasant shave.

Found an unlabeled, partially used soap in the back of my pile. Smelled citrusy, which I enjoy, so I lathered it up.
Fantastic lather! Great scent. I'm pretty sure it was a Stirling Satsuma sample that I forgot I had.
I loaded up my Feather SS shavette with a fresh Schick Proline blade last night. I had forgotten how smooth the Proline is when it is fresh.
After one pass I was CCS+. Two incredibly light-touch passes and I was DFS! No irritation, no sting with the aftershave. A solid 9.5/10 shave.
