Just a rich and thick lather that is the signature of Stirling was in the bowl today. I couldn't get enough. I was actually contemplating a 4th and 5th pass.

I hope everyone is keeping an eye out for fat men in red and white suites.

Today I used my 1965 Gillette Slim with Wilkinson Sword blades on two days growth.

Prep was a warm shower, face washed with Nivea Men's face wash.
Pre-shave with Proraso green

Soap was Soap Commander Strategy loaded right in the tub and face lathered with a Semogue Hereditus 1305 Boar.

Started on #4 and shaved with the grain on the first pass.
Then switched to #2 for the second against the grain pass and third across grain passes.

A couple of very tiny nicks that disappeared with a rinse and no real irritation with near BBS results.

Post shave was a swipe around with my alum stick and then rinsed again with cool water.
Then applied some Soap Commander Endurance after-shave balm

9/10

Wolfman WR1/WRH2 handle
Blade: Personna lab (day 4)
Brush: Simpsons chubby 1 best badger
Soap: Fine santal absolut

Rating: 9.5/10.
What is the big difference between an EJ 3one6 and a Wolfman WR1/WRH2 handle besides
the $380.00 price difference?

Monday morning shave

Rockwell 6s, Plate R5
Bic Chrome Platinum
Simpsons Polo 8 Super
Simpsons Shaving Cream
Thayers WH
TOBS Sandalwood Cologne

Rating 9/10. 1 cut, no irritation.

Lathering with the Polo 8 was fantastic, the brush easily holds enough lather for 5 passes but just went with 3 :biggrin1:. The face feel of the super badger with a cream is just fantastic and the flow of lather out of the knot makes it very practical.
I haven't used the Rockwell 6s for a while, it felt smooth with minimal blade feel compared to what I'm used to, so I collected a cut on jawline area. The first pass wasn't that efficient/close, definately needed 3 passes. I'm sampling the Bic blades, overall they are pretty good for their low price, quite smooth and in general decent sharpness (not feather or nacet).

Great lather from the soap. Creamy, slick and very nice scent.
1st use of razor with the blade was very good. Quite smooth and comfortable for 3+1passes and result in a mostly bbs feel. Saw some creepers. Excellent post & aftershaves.
Another wow GEM razor similar to the Junior. Easy to use and although can't do a direct wtg under the nose but xtg and atg on the upper lips area are breezy. Rating 9.7/10
