OCtober 15 and its the Razorock SLOC razor turn for this OC month. Of all my DE razors this is one of favorites for travel and regular use. It is harder maybe to get a BBS shave for some but that is why I like this razor because it gives me a DFS minium result & in some of these countries were you don't want to many nicks and is easy on the skin. Excellent daily driver IMO.

Part of the Tech Clone shave-off I've been posting.

Prep: Wash face with Neutrogena
Pre-shave: Cremo

Razor: Unbranded (Tech Clone Wannabe - link below so you can avoid this one), MR11 Handle
Blade: Personna Israeli Platinum Red (4)
Post-shave1: Crystal Alum Stick
Post-shave2: Thayers Witch Hazel w/Aloe
Aftershave Balm: CeraVe
Cologne: Kolonia 1800 Vetiver deCrusellas EdC

This is not a true Tech Clone in that there are four smaller oval slots on each side instead of the two larger slots on the Techs and the Tech Clones.

Blade alignment was problematic. Took a couple of tries to get the Personna Red properly centered.

Only made it WTG and partially XTG when I threw in the towel on this razor. Harsh and inefficient - not my cup of tea.

Every Tech Clone I've shaved with in this series shaves a lot better than this razor. I loaded the Personna in the Tiger and comfortably finished up my shave.

Not recommended.

First run out with the Bergamotto Di Calabria and first try with the pre shave oil .....

The soap is slightly firmer than the Miele and my brush is quite soft so I think in future I'll load the brush direct from the jar then bowl lather ... scooping some out first took some mixing (I cold shave so that probably didn't help)
Great lather and the pic shows what was left after 3 passes - very good cushion and glide and no noticable irritation.

The aftershave is very nice and so to the balm - although the latter isn't as thick as the Miele version but feels very nice on the skin and absorbs quickly

Post shave feel is just as good as using Miele with a slightly cool feeling and once again the scent is wonderful

Another one that will be staying
