Rushed this morning; no time for a shower or any other beard prep.

--Fatboy
--New GDB blade
--Usual vintage Floris badger brush, usual lather bowl
--Speick cream
--Speick aftershave

A very good shave, surprisingly enough. The lather was thick and needed to be loosened a little with a few drops of water between passes. But a damn fine shave.

- Razor: Rockwell 6S (plate 4)
- Blade: Indian Gillette Wilkinson Sword (1)
- Soap: Henri et Victoria Cognac and Cuban Cigars

Excellent afternoon shave.

No irritation from the C&CC soap for a change and my first shave with an Indian WS. Excellent blades. I took a chance and bought 200 on Amazon for about $14US and they are much better than expected. Will definitely be going into the main rotation.

Razor: 1941 Gillette Ranger Tech TTO
Blade: Astra SP (2)
Brush: Muhle Silvertip Fibre synthetic
Soap: Stirling Coniferous
Rating: 9.5

Morning shave on two days of growth. BBS after WTG/XTG/ATG passes; no irritation today, but an unnoticed bleeder under the lower lip, so I deducted 0.5 from the rating. Shave #2 gave me one of my closest shaves ever, just like last time. I am really liking this Ranger Tech.

This razor is in outstanding condition. As promised, here is the pic.

Saturday Shave

Pre-shave: Shower/hot washcloth/Paa The Cube
Razor: 1952 Super Speed
Blade: VDH (2)
Brush: PAA Amber Aerolite 24mm Stygian Synth Hybrid Brush
Soap: PAA Sangre De Drago
Bowl/Mug: Fleamarket find
Post Shave: Seabreeze/Nivea balm
AS: PAA Sangre De Drago

Since it's Saturday, I decided to use a Super Speed for MSMSS Saturday.
Second use of this VDH blade. The Thursday shave wasn't really that great, with the post shave irritation. Today was better, in that regard, but I probably should have waited another day, as I got some mild post save irritation on my neck, but nothing like Thursday. Did reopen one of the nicks, but it stopped before I was done shaving.

The shave was nowhere near as close as Thursday, so the blade is getting binned.

Today's shave, while less irritating than Thursday, was not as close.
Today's shave gets an 8.0/10

Fatip Piccolo Mk1 - Little One
Astra SS blade
Yaqi Two-Band Mysterious Space brush
365 glycerin soap wash
Speick shaving cream
Dickinson's witch hazel
Speick splash

Clean, close shave; BBS

Notes:
  • Nice results with the Speick cream & palm lathering
  • Lots of blade feel in the older generation Fatip OC, very close shaves, though
  • Today's shave equipment was randomly chosen, do you want to play a game?

Soap: Shave Club Finland
After: Mühle alum block + Dapper Dan aftershave balm
Blade: Super-Max platinum

Soap is okay for a puck, trying to figure out the right amount of moisture for it. Not the best lather, but only one nick today. It being scent-free is kind of good I guess, but kind of boring!
