First shave with the Ikon. VERY Tech-like. This is a smooth and efficient razor. Impressive.

Results = DFS. Very comfortable with no weepers or irritation.

Another less hyped manufacturer ...

The soap came in a 150g puck - an ideal size IMO - was expecting a battle to get lather with it being very hard but no problems at all. Again another soap that likes plenty of water and took a couple of tries to get it right - once dialled in the shave was lovely with good feedback and nice glide.

The post shave balm is really nice - great feel on your skin and very quickly absorbed with no greasy / sticky feeling.

Great clean scent and this setup - together with yesterday's from Extro Cosmesi Miele - I'll definately keep

So 2 for 2 which restores faith a little

OCtober 4th and decided to take out my Gillette 1930's Canadian version NEW long comb with ball end handle & it has to be one of my favorites when it comes to Gillette with a brand new Gillette silver blue. It hardly ever fails me and performance is superb for results. I have two L.C. but my fat handle Gillette New LC seems to be a different shave and not sure why it makes a difference, not as good a shave for results sometimes.

Preshave: brush wash face with CeraVe soap + Aloe vera gel on beard area only.

I found this cream at Ross and I didn't expect much from it. I really couldn't get it to lather in the bowl, but upon brushing it to my face it gave a decent lather. Not bad.
