Shave Rating: 9/10
A nice close, comfortable and irritation free shave today. I'd usually bank a blade after 4 shaves but this BIC is still feeling sharp and smooth (especially compared to Sundays fresh GSB) so I'll hang onto it and see how long it lasts.

Pre-Shave: Cold water splash - OPR Bay Rum soap
Soap: Chiseled Face Bay Rum
Brush: Je&Co (Night Sky) Tuxedo synthetic
Razor: Karve Brass SC (Plate B) w/Charcoal Goods Brass Torpedo handle
Blade: Kai SS (2)
Post-Shave: Cold water splash - Thayers Witch Hazel - Lucky Tiger Face Tonic
AS: Lucky Tiger Bay Rum

I enjoyed using the Chiseled Face Bay Rum soap so much yesterday...I had to use it again today. I'm sure you've experienced that before. My wife said from the living room, "That smells really good!" I love it! And she's right! I overworked my neck this morning a bit which resulted in a small area of little weeper dots. Very small, but, hey...user error. All in all another DFS/BBS. I would call this a chased BBS though...dumb, dumb, dumb. Decided to send a call out to the bullpen for the Lucky Tiger Bay Rum for the win.

Happy Shaves, Everyone!

Shark (7)
Witch Hazel
Stirling Unscented splash

Today marks the end of this blade. I had to work for a +9.0 shave and 20 post shave had a few hot spots. Time to retire the blade while it still has its glory.

Razor: Razorock old type O.C - Mfg 2015> excellent razor with a KAI SS DE blade. Milder mid range, good daily driver IMO.
Blade: KAI SS (9) excellent, sharp & smooth + great longevity. Worth having a few tucks for mild razors, .009"wider than a standard blade.
Soap: Colonel Conk Bayrum- mild scent + excellent lather qualities with a good post shave feel.
Brush: Yaqi lucky dice 26mm Tuxedo knot- excellent lather creator(bit of a lather hog) + cloud like soft tips.
Pre shave: brush wash my whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser + a dollop of Aloe Vera gel on cleaned beard area.
Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WT + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Proraso green with witch hazel + a dollop of Nivea balm,
Results: 9.5/10 or CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers = :a17: Excellent shave with my RR old type & Kai SS blade combo:thumbup:.

Prep: Warm shower and nivea cleansing gel
Pre Shave: Proraso the white one (lots of it)
Razor: Lord L6
Blade: Wilkinson Sword
Brush: Omega pro 49 boar
Soap: Nivea sensitive shaving creme
Aftershave: Proraso lotion green + nivea sensitive balm + nivea moisturizing creme for men
Rating : 7,5 /10

Overall an ok shave with a couple moments (I made a tiny pimple bleed and caused a tiny cut on my lower lip). Wilkinson blade works great in the lord l6 (its fifth shave!), which I am liking more each day. You can feel it working and cutting even the tiniest of hairs. I had a smooth shave. I used the Nivea sensitive cream for the first time. I used alot. It produced tons of lather and the omega 49 covered my face nicely. I would totally recommend the Nivea. Its scent is kinda weak but pleasant. I also used alot pre shave creme. It definitely played its role in providing a smooth shave.
