It must be the weather changing because my skin seems to be blotchy and whiskers tougher. Took out my Schick injector i2 today and it performed OK but the results were not as stellar as normal and my skin and beard has been like this for about 10 days.(blame the colder weather.)

I thought I might be pushing my luck using this blade for 8 times. Yesterday the shave was not the best - just a bit of irritation on my neck. Today, however, the shave was excellent with no irritation. I think yesterday I was rushed and may have put more pressure on the razor than I should have.
Just received my Schick golden 500 Hydro-magic injector yesterday and it came with some platinum injector blades that still had the preserving oil on the edges so took the 500 for a shave this morning. The results were excellent but alum block told me that it was a little to close. The handle on this beautiful razor is 5 3/8 inches long so folks who like long handles will enjoy this one.(Men & women)

Pre-shave: CeraVe Moisturizing Cream
Brush: RazoRock Plissoft Synthetic
Soap: Stirling Electric Sheep
Razor: RazoRock Lupo with Maggard MR11 handle
Blade: Kai (4)
Post-shave: Gentleman Jon Alum + Thayers Witch Hazel with Aloe
Post-Shave Balm: CeraVe Moisturizing Cream
After Shave: Stetson with Aloe

Of note: The CeraVe Moisturizing Cream was recommended to me by my Dermatologist some time ago to treat an area of dry, irritated skin. It worked really great for that so I figured it was worth a try as a pre and post shave balm. Worked pretty darn good!
First shave with the RR Lupo. I prefer the extra heft and feel with the Maggard MR11. Very impressive combination. Mild and smooth. Nice BBS result. One very minor weeper under my chin (my fault). Very minimal irritation.
