Refreshing and relaxing. Strong eucalyptus scent from the soap, and I'm not sure I want menthol for the full shave. May need to save further testing for spring/summer. More mint scent from the splash - a definite winner. Two passes, minimal touch-up. DFS++ result. One phantom nick above the chin during the first pass. No alum feedback otherwise.

My Wednesday morning shave was much like yesterday mornings shave. It was very tuggy, draggy and not great. I went another day with the Vintage Rembrandt Stainless blade and I will decide over night whether to try for a fourth day or not. I had to keep going back over my cheeks and jowls and buffing which I don’t like doing. Anyway I would rate the shave much the same as yesterday’s shave, a 7.5/10.

- Tatara Muramasa, Gillette Silver Blue blade #16, 3-4-5
- Myrsol Blue soap and after shave lotion
A great, totally Myrsol Blue shave. Classic barbershop scent, great protection, and awesome post-shave feel.
Rating: A perfect ten!

Nice on skin, but with very feeble backbone. It's a painting brush. Lovely handle.
SR: Matador Deluxe Precisionsrakhyvel (S) -
Very well machined vintage swedish razor. The head is stainless steel. It screams quality. Smooth and efficient.
BLADE: Kai Stainless Steel (JPN) (1) -
One of my top tier blades.
