  • Soap: Razorock Blue Barbershop
  • Brush: Omega 10275 Pura Setola
  • Razor: RazoRock German 37 Slant with Weber SS handle
  • Blade: Voskhod (3)
  • Post Shave: Thayers Original + Nivea Post Shave Balm

  • Rating: 9.99/10 DFS.

My first time using a Voskhod blade in the RazoRock German 37 slant razor and it is a great combination for me. Made the razor feel extra smooth but still effective. Overall I got a super comfortable and close shave. I also enjoyed the soap and aftershave combination, they seemed to go well together.

Prep: Hot shower

Soap: Declaration Grooming Dirtyver

Brush: Shavemac Synthetic

Razor: Merkur 34c

Blade: Astra Stainless (2x)

Post: Alum and Declaration Grooming Dirtyver Splash

Fragrance: Creed Green Irish Tweed

My first shave in two weeks without the Schone, and wow was this a smooth and effortless shave. I will say that I missed the blade feel of the Schone, and caught myself using more pressure with the Merkur 34c to feel "something." No weepers or irritation, just a wonderful BBS shave that was missing the blade feel I had grown accustomed to. Go figure lol, I can see why I ravaged my face with the first use of the Schone coming from my Merkur 34c.

9.8 / 10 only because I was missing the blade feel of my Schone. The performance of the soap and splash were amazing!

Monday's Shave

Today I loaded up my Uomo DaVinci 293 Silvertip brush with some GD Magnolia soap. Made a nice lather and used my Wolfman WR 2 SB razor loaded with a Feather blade to do a three pass shave. Aftershave was some Thayers Rose Petal WH and DR Harris Arlington Aftershave Milk. After a shower some GFT Sandalwood. A perfect 10/10 shave.

Have a great Monday, B&Bers.
