These scales were pristine. They are either new old stock that someone discovered or newly manufactured. I don't think they were original to the razor. Especially the way the non pivot pin is peeked."

Really nice Vector shave, as usual. BBS- results, closer than the Karve CB SB-E plate yesterday and more comfortable. This was my first use of any CF soap. I like the scent a lot. The Tobacco note is absent for me, but Earth, Pepper, and Leather are all present and accounted for. It reminds me a little of Varen. Although this soap's scent is strong, it is not as potentially polarizing. The lather had good volume for how much I loaded, but seemed to be on the dry/airy side.
No injuries or irritation for me today, although my skin was a little dry and sensitive post-shave. I can see this being a 9.6/10.

My whiskers aren't especially thick or coarse. Just a mystery to me. But, happy to have discovered that the OC plate just feels smoother while shaving. DFS/BBS with no blood. Couldn't be happier with the new OC C plate.

Razor: Yaqi V2 Excalibur AC 50mm. Mfg 2021> Great design, tame mid range, small head parts, carefree shaving mostly, one of my favorites. Work over a wash cloth because of small parts I have concluded. Great daily driver IMO.
Blade: Feather AC Professional(3) Sharp & smooth with reasonable longevity for a 50mm blade.
Soap: Razorock Don Marco, nice citrus scent on a cold winter day + excellent lather qualities.
Brush: Yaqi Goblin 24mm synthetic, excellent lather generator, cloud like soft tips, nice scrub, excellent painter + great handle!
Pre shave: Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on the cleaned beard area.
Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups.
Post shave: Italian barber Amici splash with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion + scentless.
Results: 10/10 or CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + no weepers =
excellent shave with my Yaqi V2 Excalibur with a Feather Pro blade.
