MMMonday, OCtober 18th 2021

Razor: Gem Micromatic OC, Mfg 1930-41, excellent mid range, some blade feel, works as good as the day it was made.
Blade: Gem Personna SS PTFE (8) very sharp, great longevity, smooths out nicely, predictable.
Soap: Ogallala Bayrum with sandal wood, nice scent with good lather qualities, I load in my bowl and bring dryer lather to face and then add water as needed, it lathers in the bowl differently than most soaps I find.
Brush: Yaqi Goblin 24mm synthetic, excellent lather generator, cloud like soft tips, nice scrub + great lather painter.
Pre shave: brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on the cleaned beard area.
Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups.
Post shave: Witch hazel beard wipe down +Ogallala Bayrum with sandal wood + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizer balm(scentless)
Results: 9.5 or CCS,DFS,BBs + minor irritation + no weepers = :a17: excellent shave with my MMOC + a coated Gem blade.

Have some great shaves!

Pre Shave: Warm Shower, Stirling Unscented Pre Shave Soap
Razor: Colonial General SS V2
Blade: Kai ProTouch MG
Soap: Arianna & Evans Peach & Cognac
Bowl: Georgetown Pottery G20 Scuttle
Brush: Semogue TAJ Resin Handle SOC Boar
Post Shave: Cold Water Rinse, Thayers Unscented Witch Hazel, Nivea Sensitive Post Shave Balm, Polo Double Black EDT
Rating: 10/10 Excellent 2 pass BBS with no touch ups. One small weeper opened from prior shave, no cuts or irritation. Excellent overall shave, after first pass ATG when I rinsed and felt my face I realized only a WTG pass needed to give a BBS shave.

ASR Monday a luxury shave indeed, three passes, 10-/10, BBS-, very close, very smooth, just a smidge of stubble I missed, and no mishaps:

Pre-shave: nice hot shower
Razors: ER Streamline- a marvelous shaver, just right for Monday morning; I forget how nice these razors shave- easy, smooth, fairly mild, but feels solid and very effective
Blade: GEM PTFE (3)- what's to say- these blades just work well, especially after a few shaves
Brush: Shavemac 20 mm pure badger- the opposite of a D-01 knot, not overly dense, lofted, and singularly pleasant; this brush has really broken in to become far softer
Soap: Mike's Natural- Orange, Cedarwood, Black Pepper- nice soap, good performance
Post-shave: cold rinse, then L'Occitane BAUX ASB- very soothing and very nice

Stay well and have a great week!

Razor: Mühle R89
Brush: Balea black fibre synthetic
Blade: King c Gillette (third use)
Cream: Palmolive original
Aftershave: Old Spice

8/10
Nice aftershave feel. For everyone: Try the Palmolive cream and Old spice aftershave together! Its my favorite combination, maybe because they’re the ones i started out with. The third use of the king c gillette is the farthest I’ve ever went because thats the shave that feels a little tuggy, nevertheless still a last great use.

Why are we even documenting all our shaves? xD imagine someone from the far future would find this. They would probably think that we were spies that wrote everything in a special code!

A mild shave on just 18 hours of growth or so today--just 1.5 passes--comfort over closeness with this one--results in the CCS range--no injuries or irritation obviously--rating: 9/10. Enjoyed it!

First day back to work after a long weekend... I was running late after sleeping in so just time for a quick single pass shave. Grabbed the Muhle Sea Buckthorn stick out of my as yet unpacked travel bag and quickly worked up a lather with my SOC for SOCtober. The more I use this Muhle Stick the more I enjoy the scent, if anyone is aware of any other, stronger Sea Buckthorn soaps or creams please let me know!
Another excellent shave with the Slim and the BIC pairing, dialed my sim up a notch to account for only having a single pass but it was still just as smooth as shave as normal with no irritation or alum feedback.
