I've been on vacation in Mexico and brought a kit as follows.

Razor Gamechanger .68p
Blade Gillette Wilkinson sword on its 13th use now
Brush Plisson
Soap Palmolive shave stick
Balm Hotel hand lotion which smells like lemongrass
Polo green cologne

The water here is extremely hard and the Palmolive is still lathering excellent. I'll be getting more of these sticks, they live up to all the hype.

Happy shaves gents.

Brush: Maggard 26mm synthetic
Aftershave: Cold water, Dickinson's WH, Aqua Velva Musk, Nivea Balm

Rating: 8/10. Mostly because of cleanup. But this may be more due to me having to get re-acquainted with this razor.

Tomorrow will load a fresh Feather into it and see how it behaves through the week.

Sunday shave Jan 26th-2020- Thought I would reminisce from a blast from the past using my Stick Schick injector brought me back driving down the road 1970's with my 65 Barracuda small block (273 4 barrel) don't laugh it blew the doors off a 318 Plymouth Duster. My buddy was laughing at my car because his mother bought him a nice used Plymouth brown Duster two door. Called him out to the 1/4 mile out in the sticks that was marked out from a earlier Generation and there was a lot of young teenagers wanting to see my car lose more than likely. When the flag girl dropped the flag(jacket) down I went out not burning rubber & my transmission & engine screaming mercy as I shifted and gained a second or two while he was trying to catch me. When I beat him he wanted another retry I said no because he was determined to win and he saw his mistake of spinning tires at the starting line. He never laughed at my car after that humiliation he deserved.:001_tt2:

Razor : Stick Schick injector theme razor L type- MFG 1973
Blade: Schick injector TwinII (Japan)(28)
Soap : Williams mug soap (new version) worked well with this densely packed Yaqi 24 mm brush.
Brush : Yaqi Timberwolf synthetic 24 mm- excellent brush to whip up hard soaps like Williams.
Pre-shave : Brush wash my face with CeraVe hand bar soap + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on beard area.
Prep: cold water rinse after each pass of 3.
Post shave: Pinaud Clubman with witch Hazel + Nivea balm.
Results :9.5/10 or CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers=:a17:

Nice story. No offense, but that is the goofiest looking razor ever! I like that Schick had a sense of humor back then.

The Personna "BBS-0" is a great razor. Shaving with the "BBS-0" is smooth, comfortable and effortless. Pairs up beautifully with the Kai blade. Very relaxing shave. Fantastic razor!

The @Graydog Backyard Maple Chubby, 26mm "Full Moon" Synthetic is a face lathering dream. Fantastic brush!

Finally, once again, I can't say enough good things about Tabac. Fantastic soap!

Great combination of hardware and software results in a fantastic shave!

New handle arrived from Blackland to pair with the polished Karve ... I'm happy :)

Less happy with the shave ... great smooth result but it felt slightly rough as if I'd got a less than stellar new blade ... only other change was a newer pot of GD pre shave which feels different.

Will try again tomorrow ... :)
