Great lather. Shave with razor and blade pairing not bad but not so smooth. 3 weepers and irritated neck. Quite a close shave though..perhaps the blade gotta be ditch..
Irritation was quickly relieved by Thayers Lemon.

5th straight shave with the RR GC.68 and the Nacet blade. First time using the L'Occitane Cade soap in a while. Maybe I got the soap/water ratio right because it was a very smooth shave! Way better than my shave two days ago. BBS.
I think the GC .68 and the Nacet blades are a perfect match. Looks like I may be able to get at least 7-8 shaves out of this blade.

Razor : Oneblade Core Version 2 - MFG 2019 19 (excellent daily driver)
Blade : Gem Personna SS PTFE modified (12) Face shaving only!
Soap : Razorock -Irish Country side.
Brush: Yaqi Rainbow brown whiskers 26 mm
Pre-shave: Brush wash my face with CeraVe hand bar soap + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on beard area.
Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 3.
Post shave: Alum + cold water rinse. (great for testing shave results also.)
Post shave: Razorock XXX aftershave with witch hazel + Nivea balm.
Results:9/10 or CCS,DFS,BBS + alum indicated no irritation + no weepers=
Very comfortable shave.

Well, the day has finally come! My original, 4 year old jar of MdC is finally gone! In fact, I actually ran out on the 3rd pass. Oh Happy Days! It’s been my personal mission to kill this run for a while now and it’s gone! Gone baby!
On a more serious note: great shave this morning. The Fili is quickly rising up my rankings of favorite straights. The Captains Choice was from a sample they sent as part of my order. Not sure the scent does much for me, but the splash itself is pretty nice. And CL Weinstrasse absolutely lives up to the hype.
