Just got the Leresche razor yesterday, cleaned it up and shaved with it today. Kind of reminds me of a Single Ring with a larger diameter handle. Fits my hand nicely. A very nice shaving razor that seems to like a mid-shallow angle instead of the steep angle I use with my favored Old Type.

The @Graydog Backyard Maple Chubby, 26mm "Full Moon" Synthetic is an incredible face lathering brush. Three full passes and had plenty of lather left for touch-ups.

A very enjoyable shave!

First use with the Blackbird and i was VERY careful loaded with a new Gillette Platinum and the shave was BBS without any touchups and probably as close a shave as I've had to date .... however I would say it wasn't the smoothest shave which I'm hoping will improve with practice and me getting used to it.

The razor is beautifully made and I did let heart over head influence the purchase as I knew it may be a little too agresive for my skin type.

Will use is constantly over the next week or so and maybe try a couple of different blades.

Soap and splash performed beautifully and post shave skin feel combined with the very close shave is excellent.

SOTD Thur-Jan-09-2020, thought I would use this Proraso Tin Packaging I recieved for a Christmas present as a back drop when using my Proraso. They sure know how to Package their products and that might be one of the reasons they have been so successful other than great products


Razor : Oneblade Core version 2 - Mfg 2019

Soap: Proraso Red
Brush : Yaki Tuxedo knot 24mm with black marble handle.
Preshave: Brush wash the face with CeraVe hand bar soap + Proraso green preshave cream.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 3
Post shave : Proraso red with witch Hazel + Proraso green balm
Results : 9.5/10 or CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers=
