What did I buy today?

My best guess would be an Apollo? I can't find any identifying marks on it.

It was only 8 dollars including the soaps & powder, so I couldn't really go wrong. It shaves way better than my travel tech

As near as I can tell, it is a copy/knockoff of a Gillette Vest Pocket razor. Typically from what I've been told these were produced in Germany/Austria without patent or permission from Gillette. Gillette did produce in 1920 a Vest Pocket Razor that was in a tin, but the liner was not blue or purple as it is in the case of the copy. The copys also had a silver finish to the tin, whereas the Gillette tin was green with patent information on it. I hope this input helps. Have a good night sir.
