What's new

What Concerts are you seeing this Year?

volbeat is coming in april I might check that out and I would love to go to country thunder but it is sold out and refuse to pay the crazy prices people are asking. other then that I was not happy with the line ups I have been seeing.

I saw Yes two weeks ago and will probably get tickets to Steve Miller in Louisville, they just happen to be playing on my birthday. And of course I will go see Here Come the Mummies at least once this year.

I will be seeing, Bush, Soundgarden, Alice in Chains, Volbeat, Halestorm, All that Remains, Three Days Grace, Stonesour, Korn, Device, Oleander, Bullet for My Valentine, In this Moment, Young Guns, and many many more all in one weekend! :D

is it a 90's reunion concert?

I enjoyed all the popular bands listed back in the day. haven't heard of some of the others.

I'm seeing Scar Symmetry this week then I think Exhumed are coming round this way. I quite fancy doing Bloodstock Open Air and Damnation Festival for Carcass, Negura Bunget and Vallenfyre. I really wanted to head to Slovenia for Metaldays again but I can't quite spring for it this year :(

Rock on the Range in Columbus, Ohio this May. And it does seem like it will be a 90's grunge reunion. Three days of music for less than the cost of Pelikan fountain pen or a nice pair of shoes!

I hope to be able to see Nine Inch Nails again but he hasn't released US Concert dates other than headliner for Lolapalooza.

Quit your job. I saw him last night, preceding Emmylou Harris and Rodney Crowell. A truly unbelievable evening.

Didn't need to read that. What a great line-up. Emmylou is divine. RT is one of my all-time favorites, no matter the genre, and I seeming always get something to pop when he makes his way to my neck of the woods.

George Strait
Tim Mcgraw
Kenny Chesney
Brad Paisley
Luke Bryan
Jason Aldean
Dierks Bentley
Lady A
Miranda Lambert

I might have to go to rock on the range I have never heard of this concert but man its a good line up!!
I'll be there all three days. Crew Stadium is kind of near the Ohio State University campus so there is lots of places to relax(and imbibe). It is close to a bunch of hotels, the airport etc. I got my tickets before the price went-up but it is a screaming deal to see all of those bands over three days.

The only three I have scheduled for this year so far are:

Taylor Swift and Ed Sheerhan, (taking my daughters)
Ian Anderson (of Jethro Tull) Playing the 'Thick as a Brick' album.
Chicago

I'm sure I'll pick up a few more as the year goes on.
