I'm leaving in a few hours on a short fused trip to Nova Scotia, Will be staying near New Glasgow, but flying into and out of Halifax.
Any of my great white north brethren know of any Brick and Mortar shops where I can pick up some goodies?

Im about an hour and a half outside of halifax. I had to order my blades and brush and stuff from else where.

You can get proraso, wilkinson, kiss my face, and the real shaving company locally but thats about it. As for blades, gillette or wilkonson sword classic (yellow pack) at shoppers.

lots of aqua velva though :)

Having been there, I can say truthfully that Sara Bonnyman's shop is a lovely 1 hour drive from New Glasgow, and it is very well worth the trip.

Lots of goodies there as gifts for The Bride too!!:thumbup1:

There ya go, a reason to take a drive in the countryside. IMO, Nova Scotia is one of the prettier provinces plus you can get yourself a scuttle and a couple coffee mugs. Her site even says there are scuttles in stock! I hear Tatamagouche calling you.

Let us know if you get there.

K I just had to go to shoppers for some odds and ends and picked up some Aqua Velva Green. I would like to thank all you guys for fueling my addiction to everything.

What's the difference? Does the gauze allow for better infusion or something?
Yes, that's what they claim. The bags feel different. I don't know if they are thin fabric or paper. Some people think paper imparts a bitterness to the tea. Of course, loose tea solves that problem, but this is a matter for another obsessive hobby...
