What can I add to Pinaud lotions for more moisturizing?

I have several Pinaud lotions that I like the fragrance they project, but they are absolute murder on my face. The worst is Lilac Vegetal, and the Clubman isn't far behind. The Bay rum isn't as harsh on my skin as the earlier mentioned splashes, but still makes my skin feel tight. The Musk and the Vanilla I can tolerate, but could be kinder to my skin. I recently became aquainted with Master lotions, and they make my skin feel good. No more Pinaud for me. Any thoughts on what can be added to help the Pinaud lotions feel better on my skin?

You can cut it with a little more water or witch hazel and add a couple of drops of aloe and glycerin. Not too much as you can all ways add another drop but you can't take it out when you get too much in... Trust me on this one... I know

There's no reason that an AS splash has to be the only item in your post-shave routine. After my last pass, I splash with cold water and then pat dry with a towel. I then apply some Witch Hazel (generic dollar-store brand) and let air-dry for a few moments, at which point I use my AS splash; either Clubman or Agua Lavanda. If I were to stop here, much like you my skin would be tight and dry, so once my AS is dry I finish off with some moisturizing face lotion, which is Cetaphil in my case.

+1 on this. I go the Witch Hazel/AS/Unscented Lotion route everyday and it works wonders. The only time I don't use WH is when I use Captain's Choice Cat O' 9 Tails. I need to feel the intense searing of my face that only it can give me. If you want a bit more moisture, adding a few drops of glycerin or mixing it with Witch Hazel would work great.

If trying the glycerin routine start with 1 drop per ounce and see how that goes. If you go to heavy you may get a sticky feeling and ruin the whole bottle of AS. Better yet, decant just a couple ounces of your AS into a separate container and do a test that way.

As written above you can add a few drops of Glycerin or as i do, mix your AS with some Thayers Alcohol Free Unscented Witch Hazel. Thayers has Aloe, Glycerin and some Vitamin E added already.

Other option is to get some Nivea Sensitive Post Shave Balm to use after your AS. Its milky and doesnt leave your face greasy but moisturizes really well. Cheap too.
