Neat thread, I like seeing what other folks here are using for chores.
Full size (4lb.) Council Jersey on a House 28" handle trimmed and shaped to 26". Like the wide flat poll on a Jersey for pounding wedges. 044 (10mm) for the curious.
Here's the boss swinging her new toy. Fiskars X27.
I use an old 8lb Stanley maul with an axe eye and 36" single bit handle, or her X27 when she's not looking. Have a few others for kindling, back up, camp axe etc. but the 2 pictured and the 8lb Stanley see 95% of the use.
Picked up this orphaned True Temper Michigan(?) at a garage sale for 2 bits. Couldn't resist...
