My daughter's champagne Lady arrived today.
The pink on came last month. She has a blue one already, so she now has the full set.

Thanks to idly checking BST while watching TV one night I tripped across a birth year Diplomat in time to buy it. It very shiny.

Beautiful scent! Lots of leather and spice from Japan.
I got this Mythus replaceable blade straight razor in orange. It’s a copy of the Kai Luffy, I think we figured out. To be honest, when I got it I was a bit disappointed. There was a scratch in the plastic near the screw and at the end of the razor there is a place where it literally looks like they separated it from the next one and forgot to sand it down. The back of the “blade” is widely separated (it is nearly completely closed in a Feather SS). But the most disappointing thing was that it doesn’t close on center. It’s skewed. It closes centered enough that I don’t think the blade will hit the scales, but I expected it close close on center. I guess I expected too much of an inexpensive Chinese clone.
Having shaved with it today, though, I have to say: the shave was really good. And I love the color!

Also forgot to mention that the jimps are actually BETTER than those on the Feather SS, and the tang is shorter, which makes it feel a bit more intuitive and that you have a bit better control.
Like the SS, it has a tiny lip near the edge, but it is not as pronounced as the one on the SS, so you have to use a slightly steeper angle, but at no time did it feel even remotely like it was going to bite. A really nice, smooth shaver.
Downside is it is making me want to hunt down one of the actual Kai Luffy razors, and I don’t think they make them anymore.

Not unpacking yet, having this shipped across the Atlantic, shipping costs a minor fortune and Ebay delivery date says 21 January 2021. But you cannot find these here, and the logo and wood color combo just hits my sweet spot. Now all is left is the wait hoping that the glass survives the ordeal ...

Very nice! To be honest, while you would not want to do so, you could replace the glass were it broken. Damage to the wood would be harder to repair I think. Haha, thanks Richard. You are right, that is also my thinking. The glass would be a sad loss but the real treat is the wonderfully colored frame and that pristine logo

Never fancied one of these, even after I obtained one for my brother-in-law. If I want to use a mild razor, my RR Mission usually does the job nicely. But when the Kelvin appeared on Amazon at just over £12, I thought why not? So I did!
And I’ve got about thirty Derby Extra Blades, and never used one! (Yet.) All came with Razors!

certainly nothing special today, just a cheap little storage box for razor whilst travelling, this is just a spare as i bought one already a few weeks ago

I really like the Goodfellas soaps, I'm in love with my Furiah right now, and before that I had Inferno, and it was awesome as well........good scents and great soaps overall. I'm very impressed and the price point is the bomb.
