My first Paladin. As usual, I had already shaved when it arrived.

Picked up some Arran soap, cream and aftershave balms while on holiday in Arran last week. I've heard mixed reviews about their soaps, but it has a very cool stone soap bowl and I had a 25% off voucher from the hotel we stayed in so thought it was worth the gamble.
I also recieved a Highland Soap Company Juniper shaving soap as a birthday present. I haven't heard great things about their previous soaps and this one is also an Olive Oil base, so will wait and see how it performs.

They will get some very special badger knots, as usual. I don't do much else these days - Although questions like this remind me of the horse bristle that's been sitting in the drawer for months [emoji4] Thanks!

I think this was one of my best finds on eBay. It was newly posted for bid, but had a buy it now option that was ridiculously low. I was lucky to get the jump on it.
Silver Plated case
VIB Valet Autostrop and accessories...all silver plated.
Even though it is a VB1 it has a VB2 handle
The original strop has never been opened and is still in its original wrapping paper.
A full blade holder of wrapped Valet blades.
I’m not taking this find nonchalantly. I never thought I’d come across an Autostrop set as nice as this. Especially for the price I paid. I feel blessed with good luck.

Beautiful razor and an awesome find.
This post almost made me start sneezing and itching. I am highly allergic to cedar. Can't even IMAGINE using a cedar soap and a cedar aftershave.

that photo on the arko soap is like a magnet for salesMy Merkur Futar arrived today, along with some other bits.
Had to get some Arko to try too. The smell reminds me of a barber shave I had in Turkey, when he slapped on the aftershave....
The old spice box looks a bit battered, but the tubes ok.

I had my first berber shave in Turkey this summer. will get 1 sample of the soap now thanks to your post.

Three unused bars of Fabergé Brut bath soap. I may try a bit as a shave soap, possibly grated with some MWF, and see how it performs. Not sure how old this is and it appears to be made in Indonesia.
Just received these two from Yaqi - just over £12! ($16US).
Supposed to be seconds on handles - if they are, it’s difficult to identify!

More Autostrop arrivals.
Trying to figure these out. They have handles and blade stops like B1 and B2 models, but say “VALET” Autostrop razor on the front like the VB1. “Valet” wasn’t included in the name until VB1, but the VB1 had different blade stops.....hmmmmmm.

Great choice on the Executive Man! One of my favorites! I’m interested in getting the B&M Waves (maybe once I’m out of the GRUME) any similarity scent wise between the two?
