Just as I finished shaving, this morning, the mail lady dropped off a package from:

Upon removing the packing list and wrapping paper, I was pleased to see Fatip's ambassador, Felice, smiling up at me:

Digging further through the mountain of styrofoam peanuts, I struck Gold and Silver!

The Cella Extra Extra Bio with a closeup of the ever-smiling Felice:

The classy packaging of the Fatip Lo Storto Gold Originale (AKA Gold FOCS):

Behold the Gold FOCS nestled in its box:

A sparkly gold treasure:

So shiny! 🤩

Although these items arrived too late for me to shave with (can't wait 'til tomorrow morning! :w00t: ), I lathered the Cella Extra Extra Bio and fitted several brands of blades into the Gold FOCS to check its alignment.

The Cella Extra Extra Bio lathers up easily and feels very slick. It has little fragrance beyond a slightly medicinal note and no residual after-scent to speak of. That's fine by me; that's what aftershave is for.

Meanwhile, I'm happy to report that the Gold FOCS has perfect blade alignment and its pins are straight. My Chrome FOCS also has perfect blade alignment, but its pins are bent inwards (longitudinally) a small amount which makes it difficult to insert or remove certain blades with narrow cutouts. No such troubles with the Gold FOCS! :thumbup1:

A fascinating find today! An Old Spice Burley gift set with part used aftershave and unused shave cream.

Here is the good part, under the plastic insert I found some old Pound notes which date between 1955 and 1962, together with a photograph and a wartime identity card dated 2nd February 1942 for a child named Colin Thompson born 21st December 1941. Fantastic!
