Stainless Blackland Blackbird with polished plate and handle and machines cap. Father’s Day shave was closest I’ve had in a while and never been closer without copious amounts of irritation on prior shaves.

I like to say a huge thanks to @SgtCrppls for the kind and generous PIF Brushes!! I was very happy to receive the 2 brushes, but what surprised me when the package arrived was the extra goodies included inside...WOW!! A top-quality soap, a good amount of top-quality & much sought-after DE blades, and awesome brushes! It is an awesome gesture from @SgtCrppls! I really appreciate it and this amazing forum!!

Today I have received a beautiful little 1920 Gillette brush & travel tube for £45. Plus a 1921-1928 Gillette old Type that is in pretty good condition, not that much plate loss and the 2 hairline cracks don't seem to bother it at all. The seller also included a contemporary blade carrier and blue blade, at £26 it was a deal I couldn't say no to. (All btw came from the same seller)

I have already ordered a replica handle from Razoremporium.com for when I shave with it. I've also ordered the replica WW1 Khaki travel case in which to keep it safe.

The brush i have mixed emotions about. I'm excited to have it and curious about using it, yet at the same time I'm worried about using it as I could end up being the idiot who wrecked this rare brush 😕

I'm really excited to have these in my collection
