Well, yesterday... After the first trip with my WCS Lantern synthetic as travel brush, I decided that I want a smaller one and so ordered a Simpson's Trafalgar 1:
The box has a stick-on label that says "Trafalgar" but the other side of the handle is stamped "Sovereign." Sooo, I don't know what brush I actually have but it's a nice size for packing (height 82mm) and should do nicely. Simpson's count is now at two.

It'll be a very nice addition to your brushes.
Sovereign is just the name of the bristles. You have a Trafalgar 1. Nice brush. I like mine a lot.

oh wow, now that's a lot of menthol! I wonder how that'll feel with a cold water shave.

Got some stuff to start off my co-worker with some samples that I wanted to try. The Baili razor looks beautiful but the threading seems average. A little resistance twisting and the blade gap on this thing is a lot more than I thought. I got another Baili to try out so I'll be giving that a shot.
I've been looking for natural lime scents so I picked up these samples. ZM Socialite gives that boozy lime note with a bit sweetness. Dr. Jon's Lime smells like an actual lime squeezed. I'm liking both so far.

Looks like the rose gold-colored version of the chrome Baili 179 I have. I get great shaves from it. Looks like a great kit to start your coworker off with!

The new Dolomiti 4.3 soap is not grey in colour compared to the older Beta 4.0 version, and now comes with a tin.
To my nose the 4.3 is more forward with citrus and floral notes compared to the 4.0 that I have, which to me smells more earthy.

Today that streak was broken as I finally got the Fat.
