Stirling has a great aftershave sampler program. I highly recommend so you can try for yourself. I believe it is $10 for 4 sample size bottles. I have the Sandpiper, Executive Man, Baker Street and Arkadia. I will add Island Man and Bay Rum soon. This after sampling 16 of their scents.

I’m so glad to hear this! These are all such amazing soaps! I think the MDC you have would easily last you 4-5 years then add in the SV and I bet you have soap for 8-9 years right there!
I really like the Stirling samples you gave me, I may have to give them a second look. I tried stirling when the first came out and I hated their soap, but part of that was likely due to my hard water and them being new to the soap business. I really should give them another look in the next few years.

That Torrey is going to an awesome shaver.
Cleaned and honed it Monday and shaved with it on Torrey Tuesday. I think I have a little more work to do on the edge, but yes, a really nice shave. It shaves like a heavier grind than it is, which is very much to my liking. A very different experience than my "Our 136".

I have the Gayla version of this. I dig it, and yep, shavette style. I’m not used to how it’s held. I hope it works well for you!

Gentlemen: Yesterday, Amazon delivered my Parker 99R TTO razor! It will replace, for now, my Van der Hagen razor in my rotation.
The Van der Hagen is to light-weight for me to handle with my arthritic right hand.
I also received a tuck of 5 Parker blades, what has been your experience(s) with these blades?
