What's new

What are you unpacking/ opening today, show pics or video, we love pics

I wore the EDT yesterday. I applied 3 sprays, 1 to my chest and 2 to my neck when I left for work at 5 am. I ran a few errands after work and ended up getting home about the same time as my fiancee at 6 pm. I gave her a big hug and she commented "you smell really good". I have 3 other Stirling EDT's and I easily get 8-10 hours out of them but the Blu is a beast.

Agree, the other EDT's I've bought from them all last a good while. Must have just been the bar soap that was a bit weak in the Blu.

Arrived Today.

GEM MMOC. The case is not in great shape, but the razor is sweet.

Used it this evening with only a warm water splash as prep. DFS in two passes with a GEM Persona Super Stainless, C O Bigelow cream, and a Semogue 2040 HD Silvertip.

Bought two bowls and two plastic containers from IKEA. The bowls are for lathering (wanted to test what I prefer, stainless steel or porcelain).

Going to use the plastic containers for soap pucks when I buy that.

I use that same stainless Ikea bowl for lathering. It works great.

This came yesterday just before we left to hang out with a friend for the evening.

Oooooo. I can hardly wait to see them. I acquired them over 10 years ago and was finally able to send them out for reconditioning.......

Oh those look amazing. Chris "Cap" Smith did a wonderful job cleaning these two, he definitely lived up to his reputation as one of the best in the razor restoration business. They luckily didn't need replating, just a good cleaning, polishing and a touch of straightening on the guard bar on one, also blade gaps where checked and set.
Now I can't wait to shave with one, this will be my first shave with a Fatboy, even though I've owned two for over ten years.

This is Top 5 of interesting packaging. Nothing will likely beat the Fruit By The Foot incident.

I’m not a fan of those flask type bottles Stirling uses. Opuntia is great smelling stuff isn’t it?

The Opuntia is very nice as is the Felce, so much so that I have the Manna di Sicilia incoming (also 4.3 beta formula). I am new to SV soaps and I am very impressed. Enough that between the SV, MdC and Tabac, I could pass on all other soaps for the next couple of years.

As for the Stirling bottles, they are rather utilitarian in the flask style, but they fit nicely in my cabinet when stacked side by side. It's the juice on the inside that really impresses me and a great value as well.
