I just finished the third Travis McGee novel, A Purple Place for Dying. I had to slog through it because I like the series, but there wasn't much about this particular story that held my attention.
There are times when Travis and Meyer ought to just pack it in and head for the Alabama Tiger's for some R&R.

Unacceptably Lasering Chicken Giblets?
Almost done with book four from Robert Jordan’s Wheel of Time series.
I think there are 14 books.
This is my 2nd time to read them.

On my phone I read free Nook Books. Just started a western.

Multiple things right now:
Tao of Seneca
4 Hour Work-week by Tim Ferriss
Man's Search for Meaning by Victor Frankl
The Millionaire next door by Thomas Stanley

The Silmarillion. It’s been 30 years since my last read. It remains a tough book, but is one of those that really rewards you if you stick out the first 100 pages or so.

Bleak House by Charles Dickens. Lots of characters to keep up with. I find that Dickens' characters and settings are more like caricatures described in extraordinary detail.
