Somewhere in my basement, I still have the LP of Combat Rock. This is my favorite music video of all time. Thank goodness punk music from Sex Pistols, The Clash and others came along in the late 70s to rescue us from the quaalude sound of county-rock and disco in the 70s. While I still enjoy my CDs of Billie Holiday from the 30s, Glenn Miller from the 40s, Brubeck (and rock oldies) from the 50s & 60s, most everything I listen to after that is punk or Irish folk-punk.

Sufi music. With my wife out shopping, I'm safe listening to my favorites from Coke Studio.

Boring and predictable
I had the Mother LPs back in the 60s. Zappa was sadly ahead of his time. If he were alive today, the Gov't would allow him to BE a rock.
