Well, any song on a loop for three to four days, let alone a seasonal one like that would drive anyone nuts. But I hear ya. McCartney has produced some forgettable tunes. I always remember Rolling Stone describing his Wildlife LP as "the nadir of rock and roll" and I loved that record And the flip side to that is - what do critics know anyway, right? I'm still a big fan, and on the whole I think he's got a fantastic body of work as a solo artist. I especially like his more recent records like Egypt Station, New, Memory Almost Full, and Chaos and Creation in the Backyard. As with anything artistic, tastes vary.
What a terrific album.George Harrison: Behind That Locked Door
i love this song, but it always makes me think of this:MacArthur Park - Richard Harris (1968)
All thru my childhood I thought this was a Rod Stewart song! But I love Cat’s version and seeing him doing his music again.
