Queen-Radio Gaga. Groups like Queen, Yes, Genesis, Rush, Kansas, Pink Floyd, etc. were so much more talented and gifted than the nonsense that exists today. Sometimes I thank the man upstairs I was able to experience the true greatness of the 70's and 80's rock era.

Those were indeed great bands and it was a great time for rock. I listen to all the groups you mentioned and their work still holds up.

I'm old enough to remember his first hit, Rumble. Link Wray's The Black Widow was also a favorite of mine in high school back in the 60s. I had the 45. I think it was the B-side of Jack the Ripper. I still love those 60s instrumentals.

Booker T's Green Onions (1962) gets my vote as the best of all the late 1950s-60s instrumentals.
