OFs. She got the last of a bottle of BT and I had the first pour from a bottle of Weller SR.
This stuff is terrible. Why do people drink this? I only have it because my brother works for a liquor distributor and he gets samples of a lot of stuff. This month the push is hard seltzer. So he brought some over to my house. But seriously. It tastes like ****. Then he drops a bomb on me and said that this is the number one selling alcoholic beverage right now! Whatever.

At $21 I thought this was a pretty good value. I’m not really good at describing flavors so I’ll just describe this Bourbon as “mild”
Sipped some Larceny bourbon at a friend's house. This is not one I had tasted previously, and having now done so, it's not one I'll be seeking out any time soon. Pretty harsh smokey finish on this one for me. I'm not in love.
I've been wondering how this bottle was.
I ended the evening with a pour of Dant, neat.
For women - low/no calories and gives you a buzz after 3 or 6….
Appleton 12, most probably not the most sophisticated Jamaican Rum and it took me quite long to appreciate the high esters/overripe fruit aromas. Now it’s a nice change of pace now and then.

This was our conclusion as well. We compared it to the popularity of wine coolers like Bartles & Jaymes back in the day.
Having a rum and ginger ale with dinner. 3oz of bacardi gold, 7.5oz of ginger ale, a few dashes of angostura bitters, and a little lime juice. Not terrible at all.
Classic daiquiri after a long day on the road.

Bourbon and coke tonight. 2.5oz of 4 roses yellow lable, 7.5oz can of coke, and some dashes of aromatic and orange bitters. Not bad but it was more of an experiment.
