Whiskey sour with Rittenhouse Rye
Too much cheap bottom shelf bourbon back in my Ky college days in the 1960s to enjoy to appreciate a good one, but I still tried to talk my wife into a Louisville trip next week, so I could go to this. She always plans our Louisville trips to visit her family for late Aug or Sept to visit family, so I also always miss the car show the 1st week of Aug.

Didn't think to take a picture but I made a Rusty Nail tonight for the first time. Only recently heard of it so picked up some Drambuie while I was out getting some beer. The only Scotch I had at home was JW Black so I used that. It was pretty good!
I think I’m ready for the bottle to be done. It is a very nice looking bottle though! 1792 with a splash.
For me to finish would make an interesting evening. Cheers.

Diplomatico Old Fashioned.
Nordes Atlantic Galician gin. They use a wine base rather than a grain and 12 botanicals. It's fresh and fruity and I like to drink with a FT Mediterranean tonic, not too much ice and a bayleaf, in a balloon glass.
For or about $25 bucks...........this is GREAT stuff!!! Everyone I give a sample to wants another glass. When I tell them what it is and the price they can't believe it. I have sold more bottles of this then any Dewar's rep in Oklahoma!!!

Rum seems to be popular these days. Painkiller and Piña Colada after a Sanibel Beach run earlier today. Key Lime Pie stole the show, though!

I washed down two chicken enchiladas, one verde and one mole, and some chips and screaming hot green sauce with draft Pacifico con limon verde.
