What's new

What are you drinking tonight?

This looks interesting, whatcha got there?
Thanks for asking! This is one of those herbal liquors from Germany that I picked up last March in Düsseldorf. It was pretty chilly when we were walking around, and we found this cozy wood paneled bar where it was being poured. It warms you nicely from the inside out! I took it out of the freezer last night as our temperatures have dropped a little here in Florida, for a little reminiscing. Killepitsch favors warm spices rather than medicinal herbs.

Westmalle Triple. On of that handfull of real trapist beers. Most of which are brewn in Belgium. The Westmalle monastry, where the triple is made, is only a 15min drive from my place actually.
Though not Belgian, Austria has one of the few real Trappist Breweas well.

Stift Engelszell

My favorite in Winter is the Gregorius, a Beer as filling as a meal.

Irish Whiskey yesterday evening. Tullamore D.E.W. Cider Cask Finish. I was banished to the back yard while the lovely Mrs. Camjr was discussing my potential Christmas gifts with my grown children. I think I won the evening...

I’d say you won! And by the sounds of it you’ll be winning again too! Great looking pup in the background!

Yesterday, we were informed that the horse my daughter had been riding had passed away unexpectedly. A gentle horse called for a gentle drink. Happy Trails, Carson.
