Alexander Murray Ardmore 9 Year Old 2008 from a sampler. Nice smoky spicy front, a little thin on the finish.
Had a bunch of family over last night, so I took the Green and Yellow Chartreuse out. We compared Last Words and Final Wards. Consensus: Final Ward with Dickel Rye/lemon/Yellow is better than Last Word with Gin/lime/Green. Should I have used Green in both and save Yellow for Alaskas?

Dickel 12 and Gallo Vermouth (bottle won’t die) Manhattan, prior to adding bitters. It looked a bit light in color and tasted thin before I realized I was missing an ingredient. Luxardo cherry and lemon zest garnishes.
Had a Knob Creek old fashioned at a steakhouse tonight. Celebrating two years of marriage to my wonderful wife!

Gin Fizz--I do not love it. Used good gin and fresh lemon and egg white, so I am guessing I just do not like the drink.
