I lied...Rex Ambassador.
I will probably not buy it. I have more than enough.
I did not sign up... Wanna know why? I saw a photo about 30 minutes ago of a polished Titanium Wolfman next to the polished, scalloped Titanium Timeless OC 0.95mm I ordered; the mailing-list is stainless steel only... I should block the Wolfman site on my firewall... I really shouldNo, no chance at all.
You are doomed.
You are double doomed even!
Did you sign up?
What are we getting?
Huh, huh?
This thread is a #&*%$ BLOODBATH! "Pulled the trigger", "placed the order", "I lied"... what the heck is going on here??? It's like holding an AA meeting at a distillery!?

... Bloody nice razor though!
Pffff, okay... I'm so sorry. I realise I'm massively enabling now...I've been eyeing the timeless bronze sb for a long time. Want something that shaved good with no blade feel, not sure if that would be it.
Yeah, I'm a terrible person. Something in me snapped and I bought it early August. This thread is a #&*%$ BLOODBATH! "Pulled the trigger", "placed the order", "I lied"... what the heck is going on here??? It's like holding an AA meeting at a distillery!?
Hey, I'm BigD and I'm a Shavaholic...Ha Ha, I like that.
An AA meeting in a distillery!
Yeah, it's hard to ignore all that lovely, shiny hardware porn.
Even @BigD has succumbed.
Yes it is. So nice and smooth. I don't know if I like this or my Model T more.... Bloody nice razor though!
The Bronze is a different animal. It gives a great shave, somewhat heavy but efficient. I wouldn't say it is as smooth as the SS or probably the Ti, but I like it and it's in my rotation. Just remember Timeless has a return policy if you don't like it for some reason. It is a looker though, some say let it age to the Bronze patina, but I keep mine polished.I've been eyeing the timeless bronze sb for a long time. Yeah, I know about that return policy but I'm looking at the scratch and dent, which does not include a return policy. Would just get the head and cap and put it on an extra stainless handle I have, and that would be $70. Or $100 if you add in the handle. Don't know if I want to start spending that much.Pffff, okay... I'm so sorry. I realise I'm massively enabling now...

I purchased my Bronze .38SB from the scratch and dent area with stand. I got my .68 SB SS on the big auction site for a good price. After shaving with it for a while, then I got the urge to try the .95SB base plate, so I was lucky and found one here on the BST. I got tired of switching the plates, so I already had purchased a SS handle and base from Maggard's that I use on the .68SB SS so I purchased a Bronze top cap from the scratch and dent area. Made another razor for little $. I get where you are coming from though on the expense. It is an addiction any way you look at it! I appreciate what you wrote here. Do you think the .68 as shaves more comfortably and more efficiently as the bronze? What would you compare each of those to? I had the game changer .68 briefly and didn't feel like it was efficient, but it was smooth. The .84 OC game changer was more efficient but too much for my face as a daily shaver. In all reality I should have given the original game changer more than one blade and three shaves to decide to sell it but it is what it is.I purchased my Bronze .38SB from the scratch and dent area with stand. I would say the .68 is smoother more comfortable and efficient. Many here do not like the Bronze, I happen to like it but as I said it is different which is why Timeless offers it. I lean towards the Aluminum but always pick up the .68 two to three times a week. My only fault with my SS .68 is the weight, although after getting the different handle it helped. I someday will find a Ti handle and then I think the .68 might become my daily driver. What works for me may not for you, so that's a decision only you can make. As I mentioned earlier, I would like to have a .68 Ti SB, but it's not in the cards right now. I like the .95 and it is smooth and efficient, but it's just a little aggressive for my skin to use daily. I would have a hard time comparing the Bronze and .68 to something else as the only new razors I have are the 4 Timeless and 2 EJ89's and a Muhle R89. All of my Timeless are more aggressive than the EJ or Muhle. When I was looking around as to what Timeless to get, I read all the reviews on the Timeless site. That did confuse me some, but when I finally decided what I really wanted I went for it. You can't go wrong with a Timeless whichever razor you choose.I appreciate what you wrote here. Let me just muddy things up for you. Do you like a heavy razor? If so get the SS, if you like something lighter weight, then you need the Ti. Many here prefer the Ti over the SS, but again it's a personal preference. Look on the Timeless sight for the weight of the razors. There are more handle choices with the SS. Other than that, it's up to you. And I do so well know the routine of "I don't need another razor, but!!!"I have been eye balling Timeless razors. I can’t make up my mind which one to get. Timeless SS 0.68SB or Ti 0.68SB. I don’t need another razor, but!!!
