What are the best "B-list" soaps?

Did you already try Monsavon? I find it very easy lathering and gives me close shaves.

It does tend to get foamy instead of creamy which I do not find a good thing.

The scent is a very strong old fashioned menthol/mint scent.

Use more product. If that doesn't work out use even more. That is the whole trick to Monsavon; getting enough product on your brush before it turns into lather!

What about TFS Bergamotto Neroli? I don't see a lot of love on here for a fantastic soap

I was thinking the Barbe Rose soap from TFS would be a nice one as well. Got a tub of that last week as a freebie with my order and am quite impressed with it.

I am sure you are correct with that description then. I am not good at distinguishing scents.

I did what you advised today and I indeed got nice creamy lather this time. I have no doubt I underestimated the amount of product needed with Monsavon because it is softer and therefore probably less concentrated than most of my other soaps. Good to have one more soap that I can add to my list of favorites.
