What Aftershave did you use today?

I had some severe irritation and dry skin lately from different commercial after shave products, so I am away from them for now. About a week or so, I mixed 50/50 water and glycerin but it was too strong, so I thinned it down to 70% water and 30% glycerin. Seems to do the trick, my skin feels moist and supple the whole day. I miss the alcohol a.s. feeling, though.

Have you thought about adding some glycerin to your favorite alcohol based AS? Maybe that will help

I actually did just yesterday. I mixed 50% aftershave with 50% of my "glycerin a.s. (70% water, 30% glycerin)". I did a test yesterday evening and it did feel good, but I was a bit afraid to use it again this morning. Will test it once more this upcoming weekend and if it feels good, I will stick to that.
