First time ever using a bay rum. Rather unknown here (in my local perfume shop, no one had ever heard of 'bay rum'). I'll be testing it for a few more days. First impression: the smell of cloves dominates maybe too much for me.

It took me a while to warm up to bay rum. Now I wouldn’t be without it. I like it all year long, though some see it as more of a cool weather scent.
I’ve never been a fan of Pinaud bay rum, though. There are so many other brands that I prefer more. Captain’s Choice, Oglala, Derby City Chop Shop Winter Reserve (when available) are among my favorites.

Thayer's WH immediately post-shave, the I used my own proprietary blend of Nivea Sensitive and Proraso (white): I had a half-bottle of each so I mixed them.
