What's new

What a crap day.

So here I was sitting at my table thinking about what a decent day today was even with all the snow. I decided to celebrate and took out my Levenger fountain pen which I recently acquired from a member here. I decided to flush it out to fill it up with a new ink. And as I am rinsing it I notice that the f#$%ing nib is bent. I mean honestly, what the F. I did not leave it like that so someone had to be messing with my stuff.

Clearly it was done for, but I tried straightening it out anyways to no avail. I honestly feel terrible because I really like that pen. Does anyone know if they have some spare nibs for it or where to get them? I only see one type of nib on the levenger site, and that's not the one that I have.

You may be able to send it out to a nibmiester and they should easily be able to fix it for you. I am sure someone will post a link shortly on who you could send it to. Do not worry I'm sure all will end well

Well actually, I think that I may have gotten it right myself. It's 95% there. Definitely still usable but it's not the same. I would still ship it out to at least have it inspected.
